  1. 01Gently cleanse the skin with soap and water to remove oil, makeup, or perspiration; pat completely dry.
  2. 02Place the tin in a wax heater and melt until the wax reaches a honey-like consistency. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying — skin burns are not the glow you're going for.
  3. 03Apply a thin layer of wax in the direction of hair growth using a spatula or round-edged knife.
  4. 04Place a wax strip firmly over the wax, press down for approximately 10 seconds while holding the skin taut.
  5. 05Pull the strip off in one swift, confident motion against the direction of hair growth.
