Bad serum gave me more pimples and acne

I kept using it thinking it'll take time to work followed the instructions still it wasn't working so I left using it for a while and my acne cleared up on its own and to clear up the blemishes I thought of using this serum once again and it got back all the bumpy acne on my forhead from the start
