Maybelline Fit Me Blush
Fit Me blush is a pressed powder blush with a soft matte finish, built to sit over the Fit Me base without disturbing it. A Matte Finish, and Why That Helps
Most powder blushes carry a little shimmer, which looks good in a pan and unpredictable on skin. Shimmer over a matte base catches texture, sits in pores, and reads as glitter rather than glow once the day warms up.
Fit Me blush is matte. That makes it far more useful as an everyday product, because matte colour on the cheek is what a flush actually looks like. If you want light on the face, add it deliberately with a separate product placed on the bone, not through your blush.
Choosing a Shade That Shows Up
The most common complaint about powder blush on medium and deep skin is that it disappears. That is almost always a shade problem rather than a pigment problem.
Pale pinks and soft pastels sit on top of deeper skin as a chalky film rather than a colour. What works is depth and warmth — deep rose, brick, terracotta, warm plum and berry. On olive undertones, warm peach and coral read beautifully.
The practical rule: pick a shade about two tones deeper than the flush you want, and apply less. That gives real colour with a light hand, instead of a pale shade built up six times into a powdery patch.
Swatch on the cheek in daylight, not on the inside of the wrist. Wrist skin is a completely different tone from cheek skin and will mislead you every time.
Placement That Lifts
Do not smile and apply to the roundest part of the cheek. That places the colour lower than you think once your face relaxes, and it drags the whole face down.
Start just above the apple, angle back and slightly up toward the top of the ear, and stop before you reach the hairline. Keep the colour off the area right beside the nose unless you want a strongly flushed look.
Blend outward and upward. Every downward stroke on a face pulls features with it.
Tap excess off the brush before it touches your face. Powder blush is easy to build and almost impossible to remove without redoing the base underneath.
Making It Hold in Pakistani Weather
Powder blush over a base that is breaking down in heat and humidity goes patchy, because the powder mixes with the oil coming through rather than sitting on it.
Two things help. Make sure the base underneath is properly set before the blush goes on — blush onto a still-tacky foundation will grab unevenly. And on very hot days, a cream or liquid blush placed under the setting powder, with Fit Me blush pressed over the top, holds the colour for hours because it is sandwiched rather than sitting on the surface.

Adding Dimension Back
